In continuation of that, the Bangladesh Railway Pointsman recruitment exam schedule published last February has been published. It may be noted that the recruitment notification for the post of Pointsman was published on February 2. Based on which the online application process started from February 5 and ended on March 2, 2024.
Railway Pointsman Exam Date 2024
The much awaited Bangladesh Railway Pointsman Recruitment Exam Schedule has been published. Bangladesh Railway Director General Mr. Dhirendra Nath Majumdar officially confirmed this information on Thursday, September 1, 2024. He informed that Railway Pointsman recruitment exam will be held every Friday on November 15, 2024 as per published date. Due to the large number of candidates, this time too the recruitment examination for the post of Assistant Station Master and Pointsman posts will be held in five divisional cities. Whereas in the first phase the preliminary selection MCQ exam will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM. Which will be taken between 70 marks, where the pass number is 35.

Bangladesh Railway has already released the notification regarding the pointsman post selection test date, schedule, center wise seat arrangement and guidelines. According to the published date, the written examination of the first phase of the post of Pointsman will be held simultaneously on Friday, September 9, in the five divisional cities of the country, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, and Bogra. A total of 3 lakh 14 thousand 913 candidates will participate in the recruitment test against the posts of pointsman in a total of 350 centers in the city of the said division. Bangladesh Railway has already sent the admit card download information through SMS to the applied mobile numbers of the candidates.
